Promo Video for Wink!

There’s a teaser video for the internet TV show that I’ll be hosting! We released a short introductory video on Om Malik’s site, NewTeeVee, to give the interweb audience a taste of the upcoming CNET show, now called “Wink!” We’ve also filmed the real first episode and it should be ready soon. Finally, my parents can verify that I’m fully clothed for my part-time video job.

Hey, it seems to be a nice promo! Shame I coudn’t watch it more than 30 secs. Somehow all those new flash based “video streammers” don’t work properly here (only Google Video and Youtube work fine).

Webshots at least starts playing and display (sometimes) the progress bar, but the sound output is choppy and the video slows down every few seconds.

    I guess I complain too much…

    Cheers

Yeah, the video is soooo much better in the youtube version. I tried watching it over a wireless connection on a TabletKiosk Origami and was very frustrated by the way the video came out, but I figured it was the Via processor or the stupid Comcast slow speed internet. I viewed it again at work with the DS3 connection and decided that it must be the site.

Any update? What makes it freak out that way? I let it buffer, but the video is just unwatchable on the newteevee.com player.
