1.Yahoo! released it’s Yahoo! mail API today. I chatted with Jeremy and Matt, some of the Yahoo! Developer Network folks, a few weeks ago and the screencast is on the site.

2. The new Wink! video is up today too and it’s the best one yet. Winky told me I had to post it on my blog because it is so awesome. It’s about viral video. The term “viral” creeps me out.

3. Saw Justin of justin.tv tonight at SFBeta and it was a good time. Go to justin.tv and check out Justin’s entire life, live. He also has chat rooms on his site where you can talk about his life. It’s really fun to be on justin.tv, then see what people say about you.

8:38 wanna_watch: It’s Veronica Mars

Umm, no. I only look like Kristin Bell (of Veronica Mars) through the blurriness of webcam (or drunkenness). Kristin has a movie called Fanboys out this summer in which her character hangs out with a bunch of Star Wars fanboys. I secretly hope that after the movie comes out someone asks her if she’s Leah Culver.

Anyways, I think I’ll be hanging out with Justin tomorrow at the Tattoo Expo. Should be some good times so check it out.

    I’m wondering what kind of things people will come up with for the Yahoo! mail API. I saw that Facebook used some various email APIs (gmail at least) to see if you had friends on Facebook based on your contact list.

    It looks like there are only three apps using the API as of this writing:

    My mail as a database just doesn’t seem that exciting, versus other data sources if someone were to make a quick API app or mashup.

    Oh thanks so much for taking that magic marker noise out of the intro, make the hair on the back of my neck stand up in that last video. Yeah for getting some content distribution deals in place too, that video loaded extremely fast.

    Akami? Cachefly? or did you guys just get a better web farm running for serving videos?

    Hey Leah, remember me? Chipmark? Funniest thing happened today. I saw you outside Moscone West. I’m at Web 2.0 Expo for four days and practically bump into you. What are the chances of that?
