After lunch at Smokehouse in Berkeley, my friend Taylor and I went out surfing (in the ocean, not the internet). It wasn’t really what I was planning on doing today but it was in the 80s and sunny. Too nice to stay in and write code.
Since I didn’t own a wetsuit, we made a stop at a shop in Berkeley to pick one up. Trying on wetsuits in 80 degree weather is a good form of torture. While I was trying on my second wetsuit, the kid working at the shop got served. Apparently the shop owner hadn’t been paying rent and a lady came in and served him with some legal papers. So they sold me the wetsuit for cheap.

Cheap wetsuits!
Not something I would directly ask for, yet I would be happy to be given one. Wetsuits, you tow the line.
You tow the line.

So, what colour was the wetsuit?

Surf shops are rare to find, so when they do pop up they’re almost always looked over. I guess what I’m trying to say is that people don’t notice something until its gone, I’m sure the locals will notice a surf shop not being in its place.

Leah,
It is to late to ask for a Pownce account? I promise I won’t sell it on ebay.

More importantly, how was the surf. Also, staying in and writing code versus surfing? Never mind the plans…
