There’s nothing more awesome than girls kicking ass in movies. My personal favorites are the ones that do so with geeky style. I came across the Drivl.com list of Top 20 Hackers in Film History by way of Digg earlier today. While the characters in the list are most definitely badass, the list is lacking in ladies.
So here are the 5 hottest hacker chicks in the movies…

Hackers is such a guilty pleasure of mine, from calling supercomputers Gibsons, to the animated representation of their ‘hacking’ superimposed over the NYC cityscape, and of course Angelina’s youthful hotness, It’s pure 90s kitsch.

Leah, Trinity was not much of a hacker in the movie, but still deserves a spot on the list. I also have a problem with Maggie.
I think you are forgetting a number of female “hackers” like LAIN for instance, and some of the characters from the animatrix. I think there are also some good female hackers from Hack.net.
Or if any of Neal Stephenson’s characters were to make it to the screen, you might have a few more drop off of the list.
Heck I dated a gal that knew more than Maggie about real hacking.
